Motorcycling for Charity Many of the MCC’s member clubs have regular fundraising days for charitable causes. Including: Pink Ribbon Ride The pink ribbon is the symbol of support for the many people who have been affected by breast cancer globally. The Pink Ribbon Motorcycle Ride raises awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Institute to defeat breast cancer. Bringing promising research out of the lab and into treatment centres is an important priority and their commitment to clinical trials continue to grow. Organised by Girls Ride Out Inc as part of National Breast Cancer month and Motorcycle Awareness Week, the Pink Ribbon Ride raises over $25,000 for donation to The NSW Cancer Council each year. Ride To Freedom The Ride to Freedom creates awareness and raises monies for the Australian Childhood Foundation, and the work they do in our great country. Children are being abused and neglected every day. With one new report of abuse, neglect or family violence every two minutes. We know that no town, city or community is free from this tragedy. The Australian Childhood has created a movement to break this cycle, and we can help them achieve it! The ride is hosted by Saturday Night Riders on the last Sunday of November as an annual event.
